Cookie Policy
Last updated: 3 June 2025
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, and to remember your preferences between visits.
2. How we use cookies
PubTrivia uses only essential, strictly necessary cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, marketing cookies, or any third-party tracking or analytics cookies.
Because none of our cookies require your consent under UK PECR, we do not display a cookie consent banner.
3. Essential cookies
We set cookies that are necessary to keep you logged in to your account. These are managed by our authentication provider (Supabase) and are deleted when you sign out or your session expires.
When you visit pages that include our payment provider (Stripe), Stripe may set its own strictly necessary cookies for fraud prevention and security purposes. These are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
We do not set any other cookies, and we do not use advertising, analytics, or social media tracking cookies.
4. How to control cookies
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Be aware that blocking authentication cookies will prevent you from signing in to your account.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if our use of cookies changes. Any updates will be reflected here with a revised "Last updated" date.
