Who builds it
PubTrivia is built by the team at Sonacode Ltd, a small software company in the UK and PubTrivia’s parent company. We write the question packs, run the servers on quiz night, and answer the support email ourselves. PubTrivia is the data controller for anything you or your players enter into the service — the privacy policy sets out what that covers.
How a quiz night works
Nothing to install and nothing to hand out. Players scan the code on the table, put in a team name, and answer on their own phones while the leaderboard updates on the big screen. You keep control of the pace from the host view, so a round waits for the bar rather than the other way round.

It runs a separate rule set for each of the seven conditions it covers, from IBS and low FODMAP through to reflux, SIBO and IBD, and when two of your conditions disagree about an ingredient it shows you the disagreement rather than quietly picking a side.
