More than one host, more than one room

Pro is one account: one person signs in and that person hosts. Ultimate is up to five, invited by email from your settings, each able to run a quiz in their own right.

This is the difference that usually decides the plan, and it is rarely about scale. It is about not sharing a password with the three people who cover Tuesdays.

Pro runs one session at a time. Ultimate runs up to five simultaneously, which is the thing a single account cannot fake however many people know the password.

Two situations need it. A venue with two rooms running separate quizzes on the same evening, and a group of sites where Tuesday is quiz night everywhere at once.

One subscription, held by the account that set it up. Invited hosts can run quizzes, build packs and see history; they are not managing the card, and they do not need to be.

That matters for a venue where the person hosting is not the person paying, which, in a pub with a manager and an owner, is most of them.

If you are paid to run quizzes at several venues, the shape is a little different: the packs are yours and travel with you, while each venue keeps its own tables and its own printed codes. Nobody has to reprint anything because you also work down the road on Thursdays.

The session history is the part freelancers end up relying on. It is what you put in front of a landlord who is deciding whether to book you again.
